I know this sounds random but shouldn’t Aang look older? He died in his sixties but he looks the same age he was in the flashbacks, when he was 40, When he showed up in the episode he looks younger than Tenzin, who is 51. And the same goes to Kyoshi…she lived to be 230 shouldn’t her spirit look older? Roku died at the age of 70 and his spirit looked his age. During TLA it always confused me why when Aang spoke to Kyoshi’s spirit she didn’t look older but looked the age she was when she fought Chin.
Anyone else notice this?

“He loved me well.
It took me years to realize Father might’ve wanted a child that took after him, because I was never made to feel inadequate as a waterbender. He trained with me as earnestly as he did with Bumi and Tenzin afterward. His eyes would light up just as brilliantly for us, for us, because we were enough.”

This is the sort of father I know Aang was. Alongside Katara, he made Kya a masterful waterbender. Bumi’s skills with a bo staff are largely unparalleled because of the intricate technique that went into his footwork. Tenzin is what we’ve been able to see so far.
Aang loved.
